I got a new phone or lost my old one

Install Secret Call, tap Restore, enter your 12 words and choose your backup: from iCloud Drive (iPhone, same Apple ID) or a backup file. Without a backup you get your account back but not the old chats. Switch the old phone off or wipe it first, if you still have it.

Calls or messages do not arrive when the app is closed

• Allow notifications for Secret Call.
• Android: allow full-screen calls (Settings → Calls) and, on OnePlus, Oppo, Xiaomi, Huawei, Vivo and similar phones, allow auto launch and background activity for Secret Call in the phone's battery settings.
• iPhone: the side button ends a call unless “Prevent Lock to End Call” is on (Settings → Accessibility → Touch).

Subscription

Secret Call costs USD 99.99 a month (or the local price shown in the store), with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers. Manage or cancel it in the App Store (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions). Your chats stay on your phone if the subscription ends.

Report abuse

Block the person in the chat: they can no longer reach you. To report spam or abuse, write to us with what happened and when. Because chats are end-to-end encrypted, we cannot see messages; we look into every report.

Delete your account

In the app: Settings → Delete account. What is deleted and what is not.
